Spring Lake New Jersey Brief History:

Named after the natural springs that feed into the town's largest lake, Spring Lake is considered one of the most beautiful seashore towns in the state. Ever since its incorporation in the 1800's, large, well-kept Victorian mansions line the perfectly manicured, tree-shaded streets. A quaint downtown area boasts no fewer than 60 fine shops and boutiques as well as many gourmet restaurants.

Spring Lake boasts that it has two miles of uncluttered beach and the longest non-commercial boardwalk in New Jersey. This beautiful, peaceful setting also includes many Bed and Breakfasts, where the vacationer can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning before heading to the beach.
